Pa Kua Wooden Man - Road 7

Start in a right equatorial stance, right blade of hand striking face, left guarding the right side, traveling clockwise

1.        Exchange feet, stepping back right, turn right to a pigeon-toed horse stance, strike both arms with forearms

         

2.        Double palm strike to the face as in Monkey Offers the Fruit

         

3.        Grab pole with both hands and pull

         

4.        Step in right, grab the right arm with the left and strike the face, clotheslining with the inside upper arm (H2 region). 

         

5.        Step back right and pivot to a leftt flat footed empty stance. Strike the throat with the left tiger's mouth and continue into Monkey Offers Fruit (Cloud Carrying Palm)

         

6.        Turn to the left in a right equatorial stance and strike the face with the right blade edge.

     

7.        Backhand strike to the face above dummy's left arm with the left tiger's mouth.

     

8.        Fade back to Monkey Offers Fruit position in a right flat-footed empty stance.

     

9.        Strike down onto the right arm with the right, shifting the weight onto the front (left) foot.

     

10.     Back hand with the right to the face as you kick the right foot through for an outside crossing change. Pivot 270 degrees into a left equatorial stance.

     

11.     Monkey builds the nest on the left arm of the dummy. Strike down on the dummy's left arm from above with the right forearm, strike up from beneath with the left forearm, trapping the dummy's arm between them.

     

12.     Strike under the dummy's left arm with the left tiger's mouth

     

13.     Strike the head with the right palm.

     

14.     Strike the dummy's left arm with the right forearm

     

15.     Overhook the dummy's left arm with the right arm, pivot on the right toes while stepping back left and wrench the arm in a horse stance. (a 'whizzer' from wrestling)

     

16.     Step back right and underhook with the left hand. Strike down with the right onto the dummy's left arm into a right empty stance.

     

17.     Hop back onto the right foot, separate the arms into a kind of White Crane Flaps Wings position and heel kick low with the left foot.

     

18.     Cross step left and pivot into a right flat footed empty stance and palm strike to the face with left hand.

     

19.     Outside turn (pivot to the right into a left flatfooted empty stance) and strike body with right backhand blade edge.

     

20.     Grab the dummy's left arm with left hand and shuffle forward left while the right hand snakes up under the dummy's left arm.

     

21.     Hooking step right and strike right to a right flatfooted empty stance

22.     Strike left

     

23.     Strike the dummy's left arm with the left palm

 

24.     Glancing off the left arm, palm strike left to face

 

25.     Grab the dummy's left arm with the left palm to overhook.

26.     Shuffle step left, hooking step right and palm strike right to a right flat-footed empty stance.

3.         Step in left, step behind the body with the right leg and back kick to the body

              

4.         Strike the body with the right palm

5.        Continue the momentum of the kick and pivot on the left toes 270 degrees to a right flat footed empty and palm strike left to the face

              

6.        Outside change and pivot 180 degrees to the right, striking the body with the right blade edge to a left flat footed empty stance

            

7.        Strike down on the dummy's right arm with your left palm

8.        Strike up from below with the right forearm as you shift forward to a left equatorial stance

          

9.        Rotate both palms downward with elbows out as you pivot to a right high tiger, back to the pole. Backhand palm strike left to the dummy's left arm (This is like Follow Thru Palm )

          

10.     Back kick with left heel beneath the dummy's left arm

          

11.     Withdrawing the left foot and pivoting 180 degrees on the right ball of foot to face the dummy's right arm, palm strike the face with right hand

12.     Palm strike the dummy's right arm with your left palm

13.     Left heel kick beneath the dummy's right arm

     

14.     Step down to a right tai chi stance. Inside change by pivoting to the right on the heels and palm strike over the right arm with the left, shifting to a left flat footed empty stance

 

15.     Shifting to a right equatorial stance, strike the dummy's left arm with your left palm 

 

16.     Strike the left arm with the back of the right forearm

17.     Wrap the arm by overhooking with the right, palm strike the arm with the left (Neck Break)

 

 

18.     Turn the left toes out, step inside with the right and right palm strike to the face to a left flatfooted empty stance

   

19.     Strike the dummy's left arm with left palm.

20.     Outside change by pivoting 180 degrees to the left to a left flat footed empty stance and palm striking with the left backhand blade edge.

   

21.     Inside Crossing Change using a spinning hooking step to the left, pivoting on the left toes into a right equatorial stance. Strike down on left arm with left palm from above.

 

22.     Strike up from below with the right foream. (This is the Monkey form)

 

23.     Without changing foot position, palm strike left with a fa jing shake

 

24.     Strike down on left arm with left palm

25.     Strike up from below with the right foream. (This is the Monkey form again)

 

26.     Bounce the right arm off the dummy's arm and outside change, pivoting 180 degrees to the left on the right toes to a right empty stance. The right hand goes to a temple block, the left fingers pointing in to the thigh. Kind of a White Crane Flapping the Wings posture. Backhand strike to the body with the left tiger's mouth.

 

27.     Raise both hands and strike down on dummy's right arm

 

28.     Load both palms, withdrawing to a right inside empty, double palm strike beneath the dummy's right arm as you slap step out with the left foot to a left equatorial stance. (Colorful Rooster Fighting)
